About Thor Custom Designs

What started from a trip to the Makerspace in Downtown Cincinnati in 2018 grew in 2020 to a full business. Rachel has always been creative, but was convinced that she could not excel in design or computer software. After discovering the Makerspace and wanting to learn more about laser design, she and her husband purchased her first laser in January of 2020. At first designing was just a hobby, but quickly turned into a business during the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown. Thor Designs originally started as a way for Rachel to express her creativity and put her energy towards something productive, but it quickly turned into more. Originally focused with chainmail from her husband Alex while she concentrated on woodwork, the vision on the business slowly changed into what it is today.
